Poem A Day December 22nd

(Vintage poem from the 7th grade. From a series of poems I did after learning about Allen Ginsberg and passionate “beatnik” poetry.)

By Jackie Schneider (sometime in the 7th grade)

He sits in the darkened room

He thinks

Does she love me or has she used me?!

He grabs his hair in anger!

Frustration! Frustration! Frustration!

Just then she walks in

Her hair of cinder draped over her shoulders like a seductive blanket

“My Darling,” she says in her low sultry voice as she grabs a revolver

“I used you.”
