The Cindy Sherman Experiment – Part 4 Being a Beautiful Woman

When I was in high school I saw the movie Coffy starring Pam Grier. The tag line on the cover said “The baddest one chick Hit-Squad to ever hit town.” She was “bad” too. Coffy was a vigilante who took down the pimps, drug dealers and mobsters responsible for poisoning her little sister with bad heroin.

Beyond Coffy, there was Pam Grier. Few women have ever seemed as cool or fantastic to me as the 1970s Pam Grier.  I had to see what it felt like to be the woman I idolized as a teenager.
